Photography has been a great class for me to be in. It’s opened my eyes about the background of taking a good photo. I used to think it just meant hitting the button and taking a picture, but it’s much more than that. I didn’t realize there were certain types of photography like Rule of Thirds, Motion Blue, and Freeze Frame. After experimenting with the different types we’ve learned, my favorite is Light Graffiti, even if it takes practice and precision. This class taught me that Photoshop has more uses than editing someone into a picture or changing the surroundings.  Photography is a whole other world than cell phones and cameras brought to a football game and diagonal pictures are not taken with just a tilt of the camera. I’ve realized photography is not just taking a picture; there is a story behind the lens being portrayed between the edges of a photo.
